Thrombophob Ointment is a combination of two medicines: Heparin and Benzyl nicotinate. Heparin is an anticoagulant and dissolves the blood clot. It also prevents the formation of new blood clots. Benzyl nicotinate is a vasodilator. It acts by widening the blood vessels and also improves skin oxygenation. Thrombophob Ointment collectively can increase the blood flow to the affected area, thereby reducing the pain and inflammation.

You should take this medicine as advised by your doctor. The common side-effects of Thrombophob Ointment are skin irritation, redness, burning sensation, and itching. Directions for Use

Gently rinse the affected area with saline or water before applying Thrombophob Ointment. Pat the skin and dry it with a clean cotton towel. Apply a generous amount of Thrombophob Ointment and spread it evenly on the affected areas of the skin to form a 1/8-inch thick layer with clean and dry hands. You can also apply Thrombophob Ointment with clean cotton wool or gauze swab. Wash your hands before and after using Thrombophob Ointment on the affected areas unless the treatment is for hands.
