Thylonerv-XT Capsule belongs to the class of 'Vitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies and neuropathic pain. Thylonerv-XT Capsule may be used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, and trigeminal neuralgia. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to damaged sensory nerves. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food.

Thylonerv-XT Capsule is a combination of four drugs: Alpha-lipoic acid (anti-oxidant), folic acid (vitamin), methylcobalamin and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). Drug-Drug Interactions: Thylonerv-XT Capsule may interact with anti-cancer drugs (e.g. altretamine, cisplatin, and arsenic trioxide), fits medicines (e.g. phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone), antibiotics (e.g. chloramphenicol), Parkinson's medication (e.g. levodopa), drugs used to treat tumours (e.g. Fluorouracil), antibiotics (e.g. trimethoprim), stomach related drugs (e.g. sulfasalazine), cholesterol-lowering drugs (e.g. cholestyramine), and antidiabetics.

Drug-Food Interactions: Excessive alcohol consumption reduces the absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. Hence, please avoid alcohol while using the Thylonerv-XT Capsule .

• Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, liver, kidney, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables, such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.
• Try folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, and breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.
• Sprinkle sunflower seeds over your food, vegetables, and salads. 
• Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.

• Clinical monitoring of folic acid, B12, and B6 levels through blood examinations is recommended. 
• Let your doctor and the laboratory staff know that you are using Thylonerv-XT Capsule since Pyridoxine may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen. 

Neuropathic Pain: Neuropathic pain is caused due to damaged sensory nerves. It is caused by chronic progressive nerve disease or due to infection or injury. The pain could be intermittent or continuous, which is felt as prickling, stabbing, tingling or burning sensation. A feeling of numbness and loss of sensations is also common with neuropathic pain.
