Today Vaginal Tablet belongs to the class of medicines called spermicidal contraceptives used to prevent pregnancy. Pregnancy is the period in which the fetus develops inside a womb or uterus of a woman. It occurs when a sperm fertilizes an egg.

Today Vaginal Tablet contains Nonoxynol-9 which breaks the outer covering of sperms and kills them. Thereby, it prevents pregnancy.

Use Today Vaginal Tablet as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vaginal irritation, burning, bad-smelling vaginal discharge, or difficulty in urination. Most of these side effects of Today Vaginal Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Today Vaginal Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Today Vaginal Tablet is not recommended for pregnant women. If you are breastfeeding, consult a doctor before taking Today Vaginal Tablet. If you are at risk of getting HIV (AIDS) or any other sexually transmitted disease, it is advised to use a latex condom to prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you are quadriplegic (paralysis of both arms and legs), paraplegic (paralysis of legs and lower body), have no sensation in the vagina, or have HIV infection, inform your doctor before taking Today Vaginal Tablet.

• Eat calcium-rich foods such as cheese, yogurt, milk, almonds, tofu set with calcium, bok choy, kale, and calcium-fortified soy milk.
• Eat green vegetables like broccoli, turnip greens, spinach, okra, and green peas.
• Drink grapefruit, pineapple, or orange juice.
• Eat dried apricots, raisins, and prunes.
