Ultitar CS Lotion is a combination medicine used to treat psoriasis. Additionally, Ultitar CS Lotion may also be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition which causes an itchy rash with flaky scales.
 
Ultitar CS Lotion is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Coal tar, and Salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin. Together, Ultitar CS Lotion helps in treating psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
 
You are advised to use Ultitar CS Lotion for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
 
Do not use Ultitar CS Lotion if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using Ultitar CS Lotion if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Ultitar CS Lotion in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply Ultitar CS Lotion on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.

Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you have glaucoma, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder, lupus, sensitivity of the skin to light, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor before using Ultitar CS Lotion if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Ultitar CS Lotion in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. • Consume antioxidant-rich spices and herbs like cumin, ginger, sage, and thyme.
• Avoid processed foods, refined sugars, and fatty foods.
• Limit food intake that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a good sleep cycle would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.

• Clean and dry the affected area before using Ultitar CS Lotion .
• Do not use Ultitar CS Lotion on dressing, band-aids, and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Ultitar CS Lotion comes in contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Ultitar CS Lotion . However, do not wash your hands if you are applying Ultitar CS Lotion on your hands.
• Do not apply Ultitar CS Lotion on wounds, cuts, damaged skin, or scrapes.
