Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's Substitute

Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's contains Chlorthalidone, Cilnidipine and Telmisartan. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic (water tablet) that increases the removal of excess water and certain salts such as sodium and potassium from the blood. This removal of water from blood reduces the fluid volume circulating through blood vessels and improves blood flow. Cilnidipine and Telmisartan relaxes and widens blood vessels. Thus, Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's lowers high blood pressure and reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, or other heart problems.

You are not recommended to take ibuprofen with Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's as it may reduce the effect of Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's and increase the risk of impaired kidney function. However, if you experience loss of appetite, sudden weight loss or weight gain, weakness, muscle cramps, vomiting, nausea, decreased or increased urination, irregular heart rhythm, and fluid retention, please consult a doctor immediately. If you are supposed to use these medicines together, you are advised to contact your doctor so that the dose may be adjusted to use safely.

Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's may increase potassium levels in the blood. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid intake of potassium supplements and foods that are rich in potassium such as bananas, sweet potatoes, nuts, and noni juice with Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's as it may result in hyperkalaemia (high levels of potassium in the blood) and cause severe adverse effects such as irregular heartbeat, muscle paralysis, and kidney failure.

Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's may cause dizziness in some patients. Therefore, if you feel dizzy after taking Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.

You are not recommended to stop taking Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's without consulting your doctor even if you find symptomatic relief as it may worsen the condition. Therefore, take Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it, and if you experience any difficulty while using Cortel 3D 12.5 Tablet 10's, please consult your doctor.
