Cromohist Eye Drop Substitute

Cromohist Eye Drop contains Sodium cromoglycate that works by stabilising mast cells (immune cells) and prevents the release of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Thus, it prevents allergic response and reduces allergic symptoms.

Cromohist Eye Drop may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using it. Therefore, you should wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating heavy machinery.

You are recommended to maintain a time gap of 5 to 15 minutes between using Cromohist Eye Drop and other eye drops. However, please consult a doctor before using other medicines with Cromohist Eye Drop.

You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Cromohist Eye Drop as it contains benzalkonium chloride, a preservative that changes the colour of contact lenses as soft contact lenses may absorb it. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before using Cromohist Eye Drop and reinsert them after 15 minutes of using Cromohist Eye Drop. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal eye sensations after using Cromohist Eye Drop.

You are recommended to use Cromohist Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. However, if the symptoms do not improve within two days, please consult your doctor.
