Dutaqor Tablet belongs to a class of drugs known as 5-alpha reductase inhibitors primarily used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (overgrowth of the prostate gland, a gland situated between the bladder and penis). It blocks an enzyme that is needed to change testosterone (male hormone) to another hormone that causes the growth of the prostate (a walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis). As a result, it helps to shrink the prostate (a walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis) and reduce the symptoms like problems in passing urine.
Dutaqor Tablet starts working within a few days of taking this Dutaqor Tablet , and you may observe a continuous improvement in your symptoms. However, for a few patients, this Dutaqor Tablet may take around 3-6 months to work. You should keep taking this Dutaqor Tablet as recommended by your doctor.
Dutaqor Tablet is not for use by women, and this Dutaqor Tablet can cause birth deficiencies if a woman is exposed to it during pregnancy. Dutaqor Tablet capsules should not be touched by a woman who is pregnant or who may become pregnant. If a woman comes into contact with this Dutaqor Tablet from a leaking capsule by mistake, immediately wash the area with water and soap.
Take the Dutaqor Tablet as soon as you can but skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next dose. Do not take more than the prescribed dose at one time.
Do not donate blood while taking Dutaqor Tablet and for at least six months after your treatment stops. Dutaqor Tablet can be carried in the blood and could produce birth deficiencies if a pregnant woman receives a blood transfusion with blood that comprises Dutaqor Tablet .
It is not safe to take other medicines while taking Dutaqor Tablet because few medicines can affect your blood levels of other medicines you take, which may increase side effects or make the medicines less effective. Inform your doctor about all your present medicines and any medicine you start or stop using.
