Eberfine-M Cream Substitute

Eberfine-M Cream contains Eberconazole and Mometasone. Eberconazole works by preventing the formation of fungal protective covering, thereby stops their growth. Mometasone works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Together, Eberfine-M Cream helps in treating fungal skin infections.

Consult your doctor before using Eberfine-M Cream if you are diabetic as it contains Mometasone (steroid). Steroids can alter blood glucose levels. Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is advised while using Eberfine-M Cream.

Eberfine-M Cream should not be used for longer durations unless prescribed by a doctor. If your condition does not improve despite using Eberfine-M Cream for a week, consult your doctor, he/she may prescribe you an alternate medicine.

Avoid using Eberfine-M Cream with other topical products such as cosmetics, sunscreens, lotions, moisturisers, insect repellent creams, and other gels. Maintain a gap of 30 minutes between Eberfine-M Cream and other topical products.

Do not cover the treated skin with dressings after applying Eberfine-M Cream unless told by the doctor. Covering the skin can increase the amount of medicine absorbed through the skin leading to harmful effects.
