Etowik-TH4 Tablet Substitute

Etowik-TH4 Tablet is a combination of two drugs: Etodolac and Thiocolchicoside. Etodolac blocks the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme that makes another chemical, 'prostaglandins'. This helps reduce mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Thiocolchicoside works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements, thereby helping relieve pain due to muscle spasms.

Etowik-TH4 Tablet is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Arthritis is tenderness and swelling in the joints.

Avoid taking Etowik-TH4 Tablet if you have stomach ulcers, bleeding problems, or heart problems. Talk to your doctor regarding your concerns; he/she may prescribe alternate medicine.

Diarrhoea might be a side-effect of Etowik-TH4 Tablet . Drink enough fluids and eat non-spicy food if you experience diarrhoea. If you find blood in your stools (tarry stools) or severe diarrhoea, consult your doctor. Do not take anti-diarrheal medicine on your own.

Etowik-TH4 Tablet contains etodolac, which might make the skin sensitive to sunlight and may result in sunburn. Avoid exposure to sunlight and artificial UV rays such as tanning beds and sunlamps while taking Etowik-TH4 Tablet . Whenever you step out of the home, try to apply sunscreen.
