Composition:
ITRACONAZOLE-200MG
Uses:
Fungal infections
Medicinal Benefits:
I-Try-200 Cap is an antifungal used to treat fungal infections of the mouth, throat, toenails, fingernails or lungs. The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stops the leakage of cell contents. I-Try-200 Cap inhibits the production of ergosterol (a main component of cell membranes of fungi). Thereby, weakens and damages the fungal cell membranes causing the main components of fungal cells to leak out. Thus, kills fungi and clears the fungal infection.
You are not recommended to take I-Try-200 Cap with simvastatin as co-administration of these two medicines may cause muscle weakness, unexplained muscle pain or tenderness, dark coloured urine, fever or flu symptoms. However, please consult a doctor before using I-Try-200 Cap with other medicines.
No, I-Try-200 Cap is not recommended for use during pregnancy as it may cause harm to the fetus. Also, it is advised to use effective contraceptive measures while taking I-Try-200 Cap and after 2 months of stopping treatment with I-Try-200 Cap . However, please inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding before taking I-Try-200 Cap .
I-Try-200 Cap may cause temporary or permanent hearing loss in some people. It is not necessary for everyone taking I-Try-200 Cap to experience this adverse effect. However, if you notice any changes in hearing, stop taking I-Try-200 Cap and consult a doctor immediately.
You are advised to take antacids (drugs used to reduce acid in the stomach) such as omeprazole, pantoprazole and esomeprazole at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after taking I-Try-200 Cap as co-administration of these medicines at the same time may reduce the effectiveness of I-Try-200 Cap because antacids decrease the absorption and blood levels of I-Try-200 Cap . However, please consult a doctor before taking other medicines with I-Try-200 Cap .
