Niolox-K Eye Drop contains Ofloxacin (antibiotic) and Ketorolac (NSAID). Ofloxacin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic and effective against many common infections causing bacterial pathogens. It is active against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Ketorolac can effectively treat ocular allergy and control inflammation in postoperative patients. Together, Niolox-K Eye Drop can effectively treat bacterial eye infections.
Niolox-K Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines: Ofloxacin and Ketorolac. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic and stops the growth of bacteria that is causing the infection. Ketorolac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces eye discomfort and the risk of eye infections.
Niolox-K Eye Drop starts working within a few hours after using this medicine. However, you should complete the course of therapy as prescribed by the doctor.
The common side-effects of Niolox-K Eye Drop are eye pain, redness, burning or stinging sensation, watery eyes and blurred vision. These side-effects are usually mild and temporary. However, if any of these side-effects persist, consult your doctor immediately.
Do not wear contact lenses while using Niolox-K Eye Drop and also if you have any eye problems as use of contact lenses may worsen the condition.
Niolox-K Eye Drop is recommended for use in the eye only. It is not recommended for treating ear problems.
