Perindosyl-4Mg Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. Additionally, it is also used to reduce the risk of cardiac events like a heart attack in patients with coronary artery disease and who have had a heart attack and/or surgery to improve the blood supply to the heart. Perindosyl-4Mg Tablet contains Perindopril erbumine, an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor; it reduces increased blood pressure by blocking a naturally occurring substance known as angiotensin II (that tightens your blood vessels). Perindosyl-4Mg Tablet allows constricted blood vessels to relax and therefore helps lower high blood pressure.

Perindosyl-4Mg Tablet might alter potassium levels. Therefore inform your doctor if you are taking food rich in potassium, potassium-containing salt substitutes or over-the-counter potassium supplements.

Light-headedness could be a side-effect of Perindosyl-4Mg Tablet . It occurs due to low blood pressure leading to dizziness on standing. If you experience this, do not try to stand up suddenly or start walking, instead lie down and get up slowly only when you feel better. People taking Perindosyl-4Mg Tablet are advised to regularly monitor their blood pressure levels to avoid unpleasant events.

Inform your doctor if you are diabetic as Perindosyl-4Mg Tablet may cause hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose levels). Regular monitoring of blood sugar levels is advised.
