Spinaxe Tablet contains Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. Spinaxe Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called anti-vertigo drugs indicated for the symptomatic treatment of vertigo. Cinnarizine is a calcium antagonist that prevents the narrowing of the ear's blood vessels; this helps improve the blood flow in the ear. Dimenhydrinate is an antihistamine that blocks a chemical messenger known as histamine, thereby preventing problems with loss of balance. Together, Spinaxe Tablet helps in reducing the symptoms of vertigo, such as dizziness and nausea. Spinaxe Tablet can help you to carry out daily activities that are difficult when you have vertigo.
Spinaxe Tablet contains Cinnarizine and Dimenhydrinate. Cinnarizine prevents the narrowing of the blood vessels in the ear; this improves the blood flow in the ear. Dimenhydrinate works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as histamine, thus prevents problems with loss of balance.
Dry mouth could be a side-effect of Spinaxe Tablet . Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might stimulate saliva and prevent drying of the mouth.
Talk to your doctor before taking Spinaxe Tablet with anti-hypertensive medicines along with Spinaxe Tablet as Spinaxe Tablet might lower their effect. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is advised while taking Spinaxe Tablet .
Please do not stop taking Spinaxe Tablet on your own as it might cause recurring symptoms. Continue taking Spinaxe Tablet for as long as your doctor prescribes it. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Spinaxe Tablet .
Consult your doctor before taking Spinaxe Tablet if you have glaucoma (raised pressure in the eye). Do not take Spinaxe Tablet if you have angle-closure glaucoma (a specific type of eye disease).
Patients should not take Spinaxe Tablet with pre-existing extrapyramidal movement disorders such as Parkinson’s disease.
