About Anaero Gel

Anaero Gel belongs to the class of medicine known as an antibiotic. This combination medicine is primarily used to treat acne. Acne or acne vulgaris is a long-term skin problem caused when hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It leads to the formation of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, oily skin and a scar on the uppermost layer of the skin (epidermis).

Anaero Gel is composed of two medicines namely: Metronidazole and Nicotinamide. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that are responsible for causing infections. It works by damaging their DNA. On the other hand, nicotinamide is a form of vitamin B. It exerts anti-inflammatory effects when applied to the skin and reduces swelling, redness and tenderness associated with acne. Together they effectively help in treating acne by preventing or stopping bacterial growth.

Use Anaero Gel as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will recommend how often you take Anaero Gel based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dry skin and application site reactions such as irritation, burning, redness, and itching). Most of these side effects of Anaero Gel do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Anaero Gel should not be taken if you are allergic to Anaero Gel or any other contents present in it. Avoid unnecessary and prolonged use of Anaero Gel as it causes unpleasant side effects. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Anaero Gel. Medicinal Benefits

Anaero Gel is composed of two medicines namely: metronidazole and nicotinamide. Anaero Gel is primarily used to treat acne. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that are responsible for causing infections. It works by damaging their DNA. On the other hand, nicotinamide is a synthetic form of Vitamin B3, that stimulates ceramide (fats found on the uppermost layer of the skin) synthesis and improves the epidermal permeability barrier functions, making skin look supple and soft. This combination of Anaero Gel is thus efficient for treating acne.
