About Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule

Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule belongs to a class of medication called 'cardiovascular drugs' used to prevent heart attack and stroke. It also lowers bad cholesterol and triglyceride (TG) levels. Heart attack refers to blocked blood flow to the heart due to blockage of arteries. The blockage is mostly a build-up of cholesterol, fat, and other substances that form a plaque in the arteries which feed the heart (coronary arteries). A stroke occurs due to blocked blood flow to the brain.

Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule is a combination of two blood thinners (Acetylsalicylic acid, Clopidogrel) and one lipid-lowering agent (Atorvastatin). Acetylsalicylic acid and Clopidogrel work by inhibiting platelets (blood cells) from sticking together. Thereby, it prevents the formation of blood clots. Atorvastatin belongs to the class of lipid-lowering medicines called statins that works by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme in the body that is essential to make cholesterol, thereby decreasing the production of LDL (bad cholesterol) by the liver. Thus, it reduces the risk of stroke or heart attack by reducing the brain's excess cholesterol deposition and the heart's major blood vessels.

Take Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience indigestion, nausea, headache, diarrhea, constipation, increased bleeding tendency, nose bleeding, blood in the urine, back pain, muscle pain, or joint pain. Most of these side effects of Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid using Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding woman and consult a doctor before taking Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule . If you are about to undergo any surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule as it should be stopped a minimum of 1 week before surgery as Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule may increase the risk of bleeding. Avoid taking Azvas Cv Gold-20mg Capsule if you have severe liver disease, including abnormal liver enzyme tests.
