Becloryl 0.05% Lotion belongs to a class of drugs called corticosteroids. It is used to reduce swelling and irritation on the skin. It helps to reduce itchiness and swelling of certain skin problems such as dermatitis (itchy, swelling of the skin), eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin) or psoriasis (scales and itchy, dry patches). The swelling of the skin occurs when an allergic reaction or skin irritation releases several substances in the skin that widens blood vessels and cause itching, redness, pain, and swelling in the irritated area.

Becloryl 0.05% Lotion contains Beclometasone, a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any type of allergens, such chemicals are released normally.

Use Becloryl 0.05% Lotion as prescribed. You are advised to use Becloryl 0.05% Lotion for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Becloryl 0.05% Lotion is for external use only. Avoid contact of Becloryl 0.05% Lotion with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Becloryl 0.05% Lotion comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience skin redness, inflamed hair follicles, itching, blistering, or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Becloryl 0.05% Lotion. Do not use Becloryl 0.05% Lotion in more than prescribed doses, or on a large area of skin for a prolonged time as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Avoid using Becloryl 0.05% Lotion for more than 5 days in children and on the face. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) that is in contact with Becloryl 0.05% Lotion catches fire and burns easily.

• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid the consumption of foods with excess sugar as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a regular sleep pattern would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.
