About Busgobast Tablet 10's

Busgobast Tablet 10's belongs to a group of medicines called anti-spasmodic agents used to relieve abdominal and irritable bowel syndrome pain, cramps, and discomfort. It may also be used for diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures where spasms might be a problem, such as gastroduodenal endoscopy, and to produce smooth muscle relaxation prior to radiological procedures like pyelography.

Busgobast Tablet 10's contains ‘Hyoscine butylbromide’ that stops muscle contractions by relaxing the muscles in the stomach, intestine, and bladder. Thereby providing relief from cramps, discomfort, and pain.

Take Busgobast Tablet 10's as prescribed. In some cases, Busgobast Tablet 10's may cause side-effects such as dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, abnormal/reduced sweating, and fast heart rate. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.

Do not take Busgobast Tablet 10's if you are pregnant, likely to get pregnant, or breastfeeding. Busgobast Tablet 10's may cause blurred vision, so drive only if you are alert. Busgobast Tablet 10's stops the muscle contractions by relaxing the muscles in the stomach, intestine, and bladder. Thereby providing relief from cramps, discomfort, and pain.

Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with water; do not chew or break the tablet/capsule.Syrup/Suspension/Oral drops: Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper. Shake the pack well before use.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Busgobast Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents, if you have glaucoma, myasthenia gravis (muscle problems), blockage of the bowel, paralytic/obstructive ileus, or enlarged bowel. Inform your doctor if you have severe constipation, blood in stools, loss of appetite, difficulty passing urine, fever, fast heart rate, severe sweating problem, or if you are 40years or above. Do not take Busgobast Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Busgobast Tablet 10's may cause blurred vision, so drive only if you are alert. Busgobast Tablet 10's is not recommended for children below 6 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Stop taking Busgobast Tablet 10's and consult your doctor immediately if you observe blood in stools, changes in bowel movements, abdominal tenderness, low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, and fever.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Busgobast Tablet 10's may interact with anti-emetic (domperidone, metoclopramide), bronchodilator (salbutamol), anti-arrhythmic (quinidine, disopyramide), anti-Parkinson (amantadine), anti-cholinergic (tiotropium, ipratropium), anti-psychotic (haloperidol, fluphenazine), opiate analgesic (codeine), anti-depressant (amitriptyline), and antihistamines.
