Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.
Use Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop as prescribed by your doctor. Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop as it contains benzalkonium chloride, a preservative that changes the colour of contact lens as it may be absorbed by soft contact lens. Benzalkonium chloride also causes irritation in the eye especially if you have disorders of cornea (transparent layer at the front of eye) or dry eyes. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before using Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop and reinsert them after 15 minutes after using Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop.
Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
