About Elina Tablet

Elina Tablet belongs to a class of drugs called antihistamine or anti-allergic. It is primarily used to treat various kinds of allergies like hay fever (allergic reaction causing itchy and watery eyes and sneezing), irritation of the nose and eyes, and itchy skin rashes. An allergy is a condition that occurs when the immune system reacts to a foreign substance. These foreign substances are known as ‘allergens.’ Allergic condition varies from person to person. Some might be allergic to certain foods and seasonal allergies like hay fever, pollen, or pet dander.

Elina Tablet contains Mizolastine which works by blocking histamine effects, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. It helps relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, running nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling, congestion, or stuffiness.

Take Elina Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Elina Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience sleepiness, dizziness, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, throat and difficulty breathing, generalized skin rash (nettle rash), itching, and fainting. Most of these side effects of Elina Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to Elina Tablet or any other medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, before using Elina Tablet . If you have liver disease, heart disease, epilepsy, and blood disorder, stop taking Elina Tablet and consult a doctor immediately. Avoid contact with people who have infections or are sick as Elina Tablet may weaken the immune system causing infections easily.
