Episert Cream 30 gm is a dermatological medication used to treat fungal skin infections. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).

Episert Cream 30 gm is a combination of two drugs, namely: Sertaconazole nitrate (antifungal) and Benzyl alcohol (preservative). Sertaconazole nitrate belongs to the class of antifungals that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes which are necessary for their survival. Thereby kills fungi. Benzyl alcohol acts as a preservative.

Episert Cream 30 gm is for external use only. You are advised to use Episert Cream 30 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dry skin, skin tenderness, burning, or stinging sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Episert Cream 30 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
