Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid. 

Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.

Use Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml. Drive only if your vision is clear as Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Exocin Opthalmic Solution 5 ml.

• Sleep for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours to rejuvenate your eyes naturally.
• Wash your eyes with clean water at least two to three times a day. Do not wash your eyes if you have undergone any eye surgery for at least 2 weeks. 
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep.
