Drug-Drug Interaction: Furamist AZ Nasal Spray 9.8 gm may interact with antidepressants (duloxetine, escitalopram), anticonvulsants (pregabalin), HIV/AIDS drug (ritonavir), antifungals (ketoconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole) and anti-allergy drugs (cetirizine).
Drug-Food Interaction: Furamist AZ Nasal Spray 9.8 gm may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid intake of grapefruit juice with Furamist AZ Nasal Spray 9.8 gm as it may lead to adrenal insufficiency and Cushing’s syndrome.
