About Gestone 400 mg Capsule
Gestone 400 mg Capsule belongs to the class of medicines known as hormones used to treat female infertility and to aid pregnancy. It is also used to restore the menstrual cycle in women who have missed their periods. Female infertility is a condition in which a female body is unable to conceive despite regular, unprotected sexual intercourse for at least one year.
Gestone 400 mg Capsule contains progesterone, a female hormone that regulates ovulation and menstruation in women. Gestone 400 mg Capsule induces secretory changes in the endometrium lining of the uterus, relaxes the uterus, blocks the maturation and release of follicles and maintains pregnancy.
Use Gestone 400 mg Capsule as directed by your doctor. It is intended for intra-vaginal use only. In some cases, Gestone 400 mg Capsule may cause abdominal pain, headache, constipation, nausea, and breast pain/enlargement. Co-administration of Gestone 400 mg Capsule with Venetoclax may increase the blood levels of Venetoclax which increases the risk of side effects.

However, if you experience any symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and infections, it is advised to consult a doctor. Without consulting a doctor, never stop taking any drugs.
Co-administration of Gestone 400 mg Capsule with Morphine may increase the blood levels and side effects of Morphine.

Co-administration of Morphine with Gestone 400 mg Capsule can result in an interaction, but it can be taken if a doctor has advised it. However, if you experience any symptoms like trouble breathing, feeling tired, or having a cough, dizziness, drowsiness, difficulty concentrating, impaired judgment, reaction speed, and motor coordination, make sure to contact a doctor immediately. Do not stop using any medications without consulting a doctor.
Gestone 400 mg Capsule may interfere with blood glucose control and reduce the effectiveness of tirzepatide and other diabetic medications.
