Gestone 400 mg Capsule belongs to the class of medicines known as hormones used to treat female infertility and to aid pregnancy. It is also used to restore the menstrual cycle in women who have missed their periods. Gestone 400 mg Capsule contains progesterone, a female hormone that regulates ovulation and menstruation in women. Gestone 400 mg Capsule induces secretory changes in the endometrium lining of the uterus, relaxes the uterus, blocks the maturation and release of follicles and maintains pregnancy.
Use Gestone 400 mg Capsule as directed by your doctor. It is intended for intra-vaginal use only. In some cases, Gestone 400 mg Capsule may cause abdominal pain, headache, constipation, nausea, and breast pain/enlargement.
