About Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml

Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to the class of medicines called immunosuppressants used in the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) in adults. Also, it is used to treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with artificial tears. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears are unable to provide sufficient moisture. 

Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml contains Cyclosporine, which works by increasing tear production and decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the eye. 

Use Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye pain, watery eyes, itching in the eye, redness or swelling of the eyelid, and blurred vision using Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml contains Cyclosporine, an immunosuppressant that increases tear production and decreases inflammation (swelling) in the eye. Thus, it is used in the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) and to treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with artificial tears. 

Directions for Use

Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the number of drops as advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Do not touch the tip of the container to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml. Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml is for external use only. Do not inject Hydroeyes Eye Drops 5 ml.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight

  • Limit wearing contact lenses and use soft contact lenses if you have dry eyes, as they are moist and allow the eye to breathe better than hard contact lenses.
  • Take omega-3-fatty acid supplements as they may be helpful in treating dry eyes.
