Iso Pod-L Tablet is ineffective against viral diseases such as colds and flu.
Iso Pod-L Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Levofloxacin. Cefpodoxime Proxetil inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis and leads to cell death, thereby killing the bacteria. On the other hand, Levofloxacin works by interfering with a bacterial enzyme involved in repairing and replicating bacteria's DNA (genetic material). Together, they kill bacteria and clear infection.

You may have common side effects such as nausea, diarrhoea, sleeping difficulties, stomach pain, and headache in some circumstances.
