About Iso Pod-L Tablet

Iso Pod-L Tablet belongs to the group of antibiotics medication used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs (pneumonia), sinus (sinusitis), bladder (cystitis), ear infections, etc. Bacterial infections are caused by the growth of dangerous bacteria within or on the body. Infectious or toxic bacteria can make you sick and reproduce swiftly in your body. These dangerous bacteria release toxins, destroying tissue and making you sick. Iso Pod-L Tablet is ineffective against viral diseases such as colds and flu.

Iso Pod-L Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics: Cefpodoxime Proxetil and Levofloxacin. Cefpodoxime Proxetil inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis and leads to cell death, thereby killing the bacteria. On the other hand, Levofloxacin works by interfering with a bacterial enzyme involved in repairing and replicating bacteria's DNA (genetic material). Together, they kill bacteria and clear infection.

Take Iso Pod-L Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor. The dose and duration of Iso Pod-L Tablet may differ depending on the severity of your infection and your responses to treatment. You may have common side effects such as nausea, diarrhoea, sleeping difficulties, stomach pain, and headache in some circumstances. Most of these adverse effects do not necessitate medical treatment and will subside gradually over time. However, if you are experiencing these adverse effects on a regular basis, you should consult your doctor.

Please notify your doctor if you have any allergies (including antibiotics), renal, liver problems, heart, or CNS disorders before beginning Iso Pod-L Tablet .
