Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's belongs to a class of medications called HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (statins)’ and ‘sterol absorption inhibitor’ Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's is primarily used to treat high cholesterol levels. Dyslipidaemia (high cholesterol level) is the deposition of unhealthy levels of fats (lipid) in the blood. In this condition, there is always a high level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL or bad cholesterol), triglycerides (TG), and a low level of high-density lipoprotein (HDL or good cholesterol).

Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's is a combination of two medicines: Rosuvastatin (HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors (statins)) and Ezetimibe (sterol absorption inhibitor). Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's contains Rosuvastatin that is a lipid-lowering medicine that prevents your body from making 'bad' cholesterol (LDL) while increasing 'good' cholesterol (HDL) levels. It blocks liver enzymes causing the liver to make less cholesterol. So, Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's increases the uptake and breakdown by the liver of cholesterol already in the blood. On the other hand, Ezetimibe is a cholesterol absorption inhibitor that avoids the absorption of cholesterol from the intestines. Together, they provide a better decrease in cholesterol in your body.

Take Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience nausea, muscle pain, weakness, joint pain, headache, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, upper respiratory tract infection, the common cold. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, talk to your doctor before taking this Lipitas EZ 20 Tablet 10's.

• Keep your weight under control with BMI 19.5-24.9.

• Monitor your blood pressure daily and if there is too much fluctuation then immediately contact your doctor. 
• Try to include heart-healthy omega 3 fatty acid containing food drinks in your daily diet. You can also use low-fat cooking oil like olive oil, soybean oil, canola oil, and coconut oil can help in lowering your elevated blood pressure.
