SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet is a combination of medicine that belongs to the class of medicines known as ‘anticonvulsant'. It is primarily used for the treatment of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic nerve pain usually caused by damaged nerves due to a variety of diseases like diabetes, shingles (viral infection that causes a painful rash) or spinal cord injury, injuries to tissue, muscles or joints.

SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet contains four medicines namely Pregabalin, Mecobalamin, Folic acid and Pyridoxine. Pregabalin works by calming the damaged or overactive nerves in your body that may cause nerve or musculoskeletal pain or seizures. Besides this, it also decreases the number of pain signals sent out by damaged nerves in the body. Mecobalamin and pyridoxine both are forms of vitamin B and helps in the reconstruction and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. A folic acid is also a form of vitamin B that helps in providing essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet helps in providing relief from neuropathic (damage nerve) pain.

Take SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience dizziness, tiredness, sleepiness and uncoordinated body movements. Most of these side effects of SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Report the past use of alcohol or other drugs to the doctor before receiving SR Pevesca Plus 75 Tablet .

Neuropathic pain: Neuropathic pain is caused due to damage to sensory nerves. It is caused by chronic progressive nerve disease or due to infection or injury. The pain could be intermittent or continuous, which is felt as a prickling, stabbing, tingling or burning sensation. A feeling of numbness and loss of sensations is also common with neuropathic pain. Usually, the body sends the pain signals when there is an injury, but with neuropathic pain, the pain is not triggered by an injury, the body unpromptedly sends the pain signals. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful).
