Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's belongs to a class of medicines called penicillin antibiotics. Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's is commonly used to treat various bacterial infections of the lungs, skin, stomach, and kidneys as well as sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea. Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's contains Ampicillin that works against various types of bacteria. It inhibits the process of bacterial cell wall synthesis that is required for its survival. Thus, Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's kills bacteria and prevents the growth of bacterial infection. 

Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's should be taken 30 minutes before food or 2 hours after food, on an empty stomach. Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's may cause certain common side effects such as injection site reactions, rash, vomiting, allergic reaction, vaginal itching, or discharge, nausea, and diarrhea. Do not break, crush or chew it. Suspension: Before consuming shake the bottle well. It should be taken by mouth using the measuring cup provided with the pack.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's should not be given with Typhoid vaccine (live), cephalosporin antibiotics such as cefaclor, cefadroxil, cefazolin, cefixime, cefpodoxime, cefprozil, cephalexin; allopurinol/ probenecid (used to treat gout).

Drug-Food Interaction:  Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's as it can cause serious side effects.   

Drug-Disease Interaction: Roscillin 250 mg Capsule 8's should not be used in patients with Renal dysfunction, colitis (inflammation of the colon) and hemodialysis.
