About Solitral Capsule

Solitral Capsule belongs to a class of drug known as genitourinary tract agent primarily used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (overgrowth of the prostate gland, a gland situated between the bladder and penis). Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common illness as men get older. An inflamed prostate gland can cause unpleasant urinary symptoms, like preventing the urine flow out of the bladder. It can also cause urinary tract, bladder, or kidney problems.

Solitral Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Alfuzosin (alpha-blockers) and Solifenacin (antimuscarinic). Alfuzosin works by blocking the action of alpha-1 receptors and causes smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate (a walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis). Solifenacin works by inhibiting contraction of the smooth muscle wall surrounding the bladder, resulting in decrease bladder activity. This helps to control the release of urine and helps reduce your symptoms. Collectively, both of them improve the symptoms of Benign Hyperplasia Prostate (BPH).

Take Solitral Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Solitral Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience dizziness, headache, tiredness, dryness in the mouth, blurred vision, constipation, flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk). Most of these side effects of Solitral Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Solitral Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Try not to stop taking it on your own. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Solitral Capsule . Women or children should not take Solitral Capsule . Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase the side effects like dizziness and low blood pressure. If you take Solitral Capsule with any antihypertensive medicine, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to s life-threatening level. So avoid intake of Solitral Capsule with antihypertensive drugs.

Solitral Capsule is a combination of two drugs, namely; Alfuzosin and Solifenacin used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults with an enlarged prostate gland. Do not take Solitral Capsule if you are allergic to Solitral Capsule or any of the ingredients. Women or children should not take $ name. Older patients may be more sensitive to the side effects of Solitral Capsule , especially dizziness and low blood pressure when getting up from a sitting or lying position. Do not take Solitral Capsule if you have/had a heart attack or stroke or heart failure, low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, have certain eye diseases, loss of vision due to loss of blood flow to the optic (eye) nerve. Consult your doctor before taking Solitral Capsule if you are taking medicines for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). If you take Solitral Capsule with any antihypertensive medicine your blood pressure could suddenly drop to a life-threatening level. So avoid intake of Solitral Capsule with antihypertensive drugs. You are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking Solitral Capsule as it may cause dizziness. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Solitral Capsule as it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.
