About Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm

Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm is a combination of two medicines, namely: Choline salicylate and lidocaine. Choline salicylate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), whereas lidocaine is a local anesthetic. Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm is primarily used to treat mouth ulcers. Mouth ulcers, also known as canker sores, are small, painful lesions that develop in the mouth or gums' base.

Choline salicylate works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger in your body, known as cyclo‑oxygenase (COX) enzymes that make another chemical 'prostaglandins' (PG). These prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Lidocaine blocks the pain signals from the nerves to the brain, thereby helps in decreasing the pain sensations. Together, Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm helps in treating mouth ulcers.

Use Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm as suggested by the doctor. Take a small amount of medicine onto your finger and apply it directly onto the affected area. To treat your condition effectually, continue using Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm for as long as your doctor has suggested it. Consult your doctor before using Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm in more than suggested doses or on a large skin area for a longer duration as it may cause adverse effects. Do not use Soregel Analgesic Gel 10 gm for treating children's mouth ulcers unless suggested by the doctor.
