Spirovent I Respules 5 x 2.5 ml contains Ipratropium and Levosalbutamol. Spirovent I Respules 5 x 2.5 ml works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it allows to breathe easily and provides relief from the symptoms of COPD such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.

Your doctor will advise the dosage and duration of Spirovent I Respules 5 x 2.5 ml based on your medical condition. Headache, sore throat, dry mouth, runny or stuffy nose, cough with mucous, sneezing, chest tightness, dizziness, nervousness, weariness, irregular heartbeats, and vomiting are the possible side effects. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking Spirovent I Respules 5 x 2.5 ml for a prolonged time as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes fits, enlarged prostate, glaucoma, thyroid or heart problems, bladder obstruction or other urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Spirovent I Respules 5 x 2.5 ml.

• Consume potassium-rich foods such as tomatoes, bananas, asparagus, oranges, potatoes, avocados, dark leafy greens, and beetroots because potassium is essential for lung function and a potassium deficiency can cause breathing problems.
• Drink plenty of fluids every day to thin mucus and make coughing easier.
• Consume complex carbohydrates such as lentils, beans, barley, oats, quinoa, bran, peas, and potatoes with skin.
• Limit or avoid caffeinated beverages such as tea, coffee, soda, and energy drinks such as Red Bull.
• Consume protein-rich foods like meat, fish (especially salmon, sardines, and mackerel), eggs, and poultry.
• Exercise on a regular basis to strengthen your breathing muscles and strengthen your immune system. Learning breathing exercises will assist you in moving more air into and out of your lungs.
• Quit smoking because it can reduce the effectiveness of the Spirovent I Respules 5 x 2.5 ml and irritate the lungs, exacerbating the breathing problem.

• Fungal infections might occur in your mouth and throat, so it is advisable to gargle with warm water after each inhalation of Spirovent I Respules 5 x 2.5 ml.
