Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml belongs to the class of medications called bronchodilators used to treat or prevent symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as shortness of breath, coughing, and wheezing (whistling sound while breathing). COPD is a lung disorder that includes emphysema (breathing problems caused by a damaged air sac) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation and narrowing of the lining of airways or bronchial tubes).

Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml contains Ipratropium and Levosalbutamol. Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it allows to breathe easily and provides relief from the symptoms of COPD such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.

Your doctor will advise the dosage and duration of Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml based on your medical condition. Headache, sore throat, dry mouth, runny or stuffy nose, cough with mucous, sneezing, chest tightness, dizziness, nervousness, weariness, irregular heartbeats, and vomiting are the possible side effects. Most of the side effects of Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml do not require medical attention and fade away with time. Please visit your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

If you are allergic to Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml or any other medicines, pregnant or breastfeeding, or experience severe difficulty in breathing, please consult a doctor. Do not use Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml in more than the prescribed doses as it may lead to severe heart or lung problems. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml for a prolonged time as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes fits, enlarged prostate, glaucoma, thyroid or heart problems, bladder obstruction or other urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml.

• Consume potassium-rich foods such as tomatoes, bananas, asparagus, oranges, potatoes, avocados, dark leafy greens, and beetroots because potassium is essential for lung function and a potassium deficiency can cause breathing problems.
• Drink plenty of fluids every day to thin mucus and make coughing easier.
• Consume complex carbohydrates such as lentils, beans, barley, oats, quinoa, bran, peas, and potatoes with skin.
• Limit or avoid caffeinated beverages such as tea, coffee, soda, and energy drinks such as Red Bull.
• Consume protein-rich foods like meat, fish (especially salmon, sardines, and mackerel), eggs, and poultry.
• Exercise on a regular basis to strengthen your breathing muscles and strengthen your immune system. Learning breathing exercises will assist you in moving more air into and out of your lungs.
• Quit smoking because it can reduce the effectiveness of the Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml and irritate the lungs, exacerbating the breathing problem.

• Fungal infections might occur in your mouth and throat, so it is advisable to gargle with warm water after each inhalation of Iprasure Pulmules 5 x 2.5 ml.
