Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's belongs to the class of antihypertensive agents used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels leading to high blood pressure. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness and dyspnea (shortness of breath).

Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's contains Metoprolol tartrate (beta-blocker) and telmisartan (angiotensin receptor blocker). Metoprolol tartrate reduces blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow more smoothly. Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor, relaxing the blood vessels and lowering the blood pressure. Together, Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's helps in reducing the raised blood pressure.

You are advised to take Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as increased potassium level in the blood (hyperkalemia), headache, nausea, dizziness, weakness, and slow heart rate. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant as it may cause fetal harm. Consult your doctor before taking Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's if you are breastfeeding. Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's is not recommended for children as efficacy and safety have not been established. Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid consuming alcohol with Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's as it might cause increased dizziness. Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's is a combination of two blood pressure-lowering medicines: Metoprolol tartrate and Telmisartan. Drug-Drug Interactions: Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's may have interaction with pain killers (aspirin, ibuprofen), anti-seizure (pregabalin), heart-related medicines (digoxin, flecainide), anti-depression drugs (lithium, fluvoxamine, sertraline, fluoxetine), and drugs used to treat erectile dysfunction (sildenafil).

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, renal dysfunction (kidney disease), pulmonary disease, alcoholism, congestive heart failure (heart disease), hypotension (low blood pressure) and liver disease.

• Avoid tobacco use. Inform your doctor in case of marijuana use.
• Dress warmly, as Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's may cause cold extremities.
• Maintain low salt and low-fat diet while taking Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's.

• Regularly monitor blood pressure levels to prevent hypotension (low blood pressure).
• Get up slowly while rising from lying or sitting position as Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's may cause dizziness.
• Prolonged intake of Telness Beta 50 Tablet 10's can cause the altered potassium level so, regular monitoring of potassium is required.
