About Tericox Capsule 10's

Tericox Capsule 10's belongs to the group of 'anti-tuberculosis drugs' primarily used to treat pulmonary (infection in the lungs) and extrapulmonary (infection at other sites of the body) tuberculosis. Tericox Capsule 10's is a second-line drug and is used only when first-line drugs cannot be used. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease that primarily affects the lungs, but it can also spread to other body parts, such as kidneys, brain, spine, and bone marrow.

Tericox Capsule 10's contains 'Terizidone' that belongs to the class of 'antimycobacterial.' It is bacteriostatic (stops bacterial growth) and works by preventing the cell wall synthesis in bacteria that cause tuberculosis. 

Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of Tericox Capsule 10's based on the severity of your disease. Common side effects of Tericox Capsule 10's include confusion, difficulty in sleeping, headache, dizziness, slurred speech, depression, convulsions (fits), and tremor (shakiness). These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.
