VIRO 4 KIT TABLET belongs to a group of antiretroviral medicines used to treat HIV infection. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) attacks the immune system and destroys the white blood cells that help fight infections, making the individual susceptible to other infections or illnesses.
 
VIRO 4 KIT TABLET is a combination of four drugs: Lamivudine, Atazanavir, Ritonavir and Tenofovir disoproxil. Lamivudine is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor, and Tenofovir disoproxil is a nucleotide reverse transcriptase inhibitor. These two drugs work by interfering with the working of nucleotide and nucleoside reverse transcriptase enzymes necessary for the virus's reproduction. Atazanavir and Ritonavir belong to the class of protease inhibitors. They work by inhibiting the protease enzyme production, which HIV-infected cells require to make new viruses. This effect helps to inhibit viral replication. Altogether, VIRO 4 KIT TABLET helps in treating HIV infection.
 
Take VIRO 4 KIT TABLET exactly as prescribed by the doctor. The dose of this medicine will be decided by your doctor, depending on your medical condition. This medicine may cause certain common side effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, and rash. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
It is not recommended to take VIRO 4 KIT TABLET if you are allergic to any contents of it. Practise safe sex and other necessary precautions as VIRO 4 KIT TABLET does not prevent the spread of HIV infection. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy. Avoid breastfeeding while taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET. VIRO 4 KIT TABLET may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. VIRO 4 KIT TABLET is not recommended for children as safety is not established. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and the medicines you are taking to prevent any side effects. Before taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET, inform your doctor if you have liver disease, hepatitis B or C (liver infections), haemophilia (bleeding disorder), erectile dysfunction, diabetes, gall stones, and kidney disease.

Do not take VIRO 4 KIT TABLET if you are allergic to its components. Inform your doctor if you have a history of hepatitis B or C infection, bone problems, pancreas disorder, kidney or liver problems or are older than 65. Talk to your doctor immediately if you notice any signs or symptoms of infection or inflammation. VIRO 4 KIT TABLET may lead to opportunistic infections (infections that occur frequently or severely in patients with weak immune systems), so inform your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms of infection such as muscle weakness, weakness beginning in the hands and feet that progress towards the trunk, palpitations (pounding heartbeat), and tremors.

• Eat a healthy and balanced diet. Eat vitamin and nutrient-rich food such as vegetables and fruit as it helps to boost your immune system. Try to take lean protein and whole grains.
• Avoid eating raw meat and eggs. Consume properly boiled and cooked meat, poultry or seafood.
• Eat bland and low-fat foods, and avoid spicy or oily foods if you experience nausea or vomiting.
• Practise safe sex by using condoms; it helps in reducing contact with semen and vaginal fluids.
• Never share personal items with body fluids or blood on them, such as razor blades or toothbrushes.
• Avoid sharing used needles, other injection or drug equipment.
• Get tested for other sexually transmitted infections, such as gonorrhoea or syphilis.
• Try to reduce emotional and physical stress by spending time with your family or doing whatever makes you happy.
• Drink more fluids and avoid alcoholic beverages to prevent dehydration.

• Regular kidney and liver function and bone mineral density tests while taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET are advised. 
• VIRO 4 KIT TABLET might affect laboratory test results; inform the person doing the tests that you are taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET.
• Regularly get blood and urine tests done while taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET.
• VIRO 4 KIT TABLET may still develop infections or other illnesses associated with HIV infection or AIDS. So, people taking VIRO 4 KIT TABLET should be carefully monitored throughout the treatment.
