About Crotopair Cream 20 gm

Crotopair Cream 20 gm is a combination medicine used to provide relief from inflammation and itching associated with allergic or irritant contact dermatitis, mild to moderate eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin), and insect bite reactions. Also, it is used in the treatment of scabies. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin.

Crotopair Cream 20 gm contains Crotamiton and Hydrocortisone. Crotamiton is a scabicide and antipruritic agent which works by killing mites (tiny insects) and their eggs. Hydrocortisone is a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. 

Use Crotopair Cream 20 gm as prescribed. You are advised to use Crotopair Cream 20 gm for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your medical condition. Crotopair Cream 20 gm is usually safe when used in the correct amount for the prescribed time. However, if you experience any side effects while using Crotopair Cream 20 gm, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Crotamiton, Hydrocortisone or any other ingredients, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Crotopair Cream 20 gm. Do not use Crotopair Cream 20 gm in children under 10 years of age except under medical supervision. Do not apply Crotopair Cream 20 gm on exudative wounds (fluid comes out of a wound), ulcerated areas, or broken or very inflamed skin. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as the fabric (bedding, clothing, dressings) that is in contact with Crotopair Cream 20 gm catches fire and burns easily. 

Uses of Crotopair Cream 20 gm

Inflammation and itching associated with allergic or irritant contact dermatitis, mild to moderate eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin), and insect bite reactions.

Directions for Use

Use Crotopair Cream 20 gm as advised by your doctor. Apply sparingly over a small area. Crotopair Cream 20 gm is only for external use. Avoid contact with your eyes or mucous membranes. In case Crotopair Cream 20 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with running water thoroughly. Avoid occlusive dressings.
