About Lifol Capsule

Lifol Capsule belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

Lifol Capsule contains L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, and Methylcobalamin. L-Methylfolate helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Lifol Capsule may cause common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Let your doctor know if you use any other medicines or herbal products before starting Lifol Capsule. If you are allergic to any of the components, please inform your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, please consult your doctor before taking Lifol Capsule. Lifol Capsule should not be given to children unless advised by a doctor. It is not known if alcohol interacts with Lifol Capsule, so consult a doctor if you have any concerns.

FAQs

Lifol Capsule is a vitamin supplement and consists of L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). When you lack these vitamins in your body, which cannot be recovered even with the food sources, Lifol Capsule helps replenish these deficient levels. Collectively, Lifol Capsule treats nutritional deficiencies.
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate in Lifol Capsule may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen. Please make sure your doctor and the laboratory staff know that you take Lifol Capsule before undergoing blood and urine examinations.
Avoid taking more than one multivitamin product concomitantly unless advised by the doctor. Taking similar nutritional supplements simultaneously can lead to a vitamin overdose or other serious side effects.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of Lifol Capsule. Hence, taking Lifol Capsule two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
