Prechol-S Tablet 10's

Prechol-S Tablet 10's belongs to a group of medicines called anti-flatulent, used to treat intestinal gas, painful pressure, poisoning, and swelling in the abdomen. Intestinal gas (Flatulence) and bloating occur due to the accumulation of gas or air in the digestive system.

Prechol-S Tablet 10's is a combination of two drugs: Simethicone and Activated Charcoal are anti-flatulent medications. Simethicone works by decreasing the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating the expulsion of gas through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract. Activated Charcoal helps to reduce the volume of intestinal gas and produces discernible relief. 

You are advised to take Prechol-S Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as dark stools and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Prechol-S Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Prechol-S Tablet 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Prechol-S Tablet 10's.

Do not take Prechol-S Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents. Do not other medicines for at least 2 hours after taking Prechol-S Tablet 10's, as Prechol-S Tablet 10's may stop other medicines from getting into the body. Inform your doctor before taking Prechol-S Tablet 10's about your past and present medical history. Do not take Prechol-S Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by the doctor. Prechol-S Tablet 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Prechol-S Tablet 10's. If you experience prolonged diarrhea while taking Prechol-S Tablet 10's, contact your doctor. Prechol-S Tablet 10's can make your feces black.
