About Socril Capsule 10's

Socril Capsule 10's is a health supplement used to treat anemia (lack of blood) due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. Also, Socril Capsule 10's is used to treat iron-deficiency anaemia during pregnancy. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.

Socril Capsule 10's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Folic acid (a form of vitamin B9), Ferric pyrophosphate (iron supplement) and Glycine (amino acid). Ferric pyrophosphate and folic acid work by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body, so each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. Glycine is an amino acid used to synthesise proteins in the body.

Take Socril Capsule 10's as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience headaches, nausea, stomach upset or dark-coloured stool. Most of these side effects of Socril Capsule 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Socril Capsule 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Consult a doctor before using Socril Capsule 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Socril Capsule 10's should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor. Avoid alcohol consumption with Socril Capsule 10's as it may reduce the absorption of Socril Capsule 10's.
