Juflox OZ Oral Suspension belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat urinary tract infections, bacterial infections by inflammation of the peritoneum, eye and ear infections, skin and soft tissue infections, sexually transmitted infections, respiratory infections, vaginal infections, protozoan infections, intra-abdominal infections, and infections during surgical procedures. Juflox OZ Oral Suspension may cause photosensitivity (sensitivity to sunlight) and can make you sunburn easily. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or tanning beds. Always wear protective clothing and sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher before going out.
It is recommended to complete the course of Juflox OZ Oral Suspension even if you feel better as it is an antibiotic, and leaving it in between may lead to even severe infection. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Juflox OZ Oral Suspension for as long as your doctor has prescribed it.
Co-administration of magnesium and aluminium-containing antacids, sucralfate, and iron-containing preparations with Juflox OZ Oral Suspension may reduce the absorption. Therefore, you are advised to take Juflox OZ Oral Suspension two hours before such preparations.
Do not take Juflox OZ Oral Suspension on your own as self-medication may lead to antibiotic-resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections.
Consult your doctor before taking Juflox OZ Oral Suspension if you have diabetes, as Juflox OZ Oral Suspension may cause hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar levels). Regularly monitor blood sugar levels while taking Juflox OZ Oral Suspension to avoid unpleasant events.
