Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml Substitute

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears the infection.

You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml as it contains benzalkonium chloride, a preservative that changes the colour of contact lens as it may be absorbed by soft contact lens. Benzalkonium chloride also causes irritation in the eye especially if you have disorders of cornea (transparent layer at the front of eye) or dry eyes. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml and reinsert them after 15 minutes after using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml.

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.

Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is not used to treat fungal infection in the eye. Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is only used to treat bacterial eye infections.

You are not recommended to stop using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml without consulting your doctor as it may worsen the infection. Therefore, use Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it and if you experience any difficulty while using Tisol Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml, please consult your doctor.
