About Acvacef-O Tablet 10's

Acvacef-O Tablet 10's belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections. Acvacef-O Tablet 10's is indicated in the treatment of gastrointestinal infections, urinary tract infections, otitis media (infection of the middle ear), meningitis (inflammation of the meninges), SSTI (skin and soft tissue infections), pneumonia, typhoid fever, post-operative surgery infections, and septicemia (blood poisoning caused by bacteria).
 
Acvacef-O Tablet 10's is a combination of three drugs, namely: Cefixime, ofloxacin, and lactic acid bacillus. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Ofloxacin prevents the bacteria from repairing and reproducing. Thus, kills the bacteria. Lactic acid bacillus is a probiotic that helps restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to the infection. Together, Acvacef-O Tablet 10's helps in treating bacterial infections.
