Cido Tablet is a combination of anti-histamine and anti-emetic drugs, primarily used to treat Meniere's disease (inner ear disorder), which can cause vertigo (a spinning sensation or dizziness), ringing in the ears, nausea (feeling sick), vomiting, and loss of hearing. Meniere's disease occurs when the inner ear is affected and causes episodes of vertigo (spinning). It also leads to hearing problems and a ringing sound in the ear.

Cido Tablet consists of 'Cinnarizine' (anti-histamine) and 'Domperidone' (anti-emetic). Cinnarizine is an anti-histamine drug that blocks the effects of histamine (a chemical substance produced in response to allergy) in the brain to reduce the symptoms of travel sickness. It is also a calcium channel blocker and improves blood circulation in the inner ear, thus reducing symptoms caused by vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), and Meniere's disease. Domperidone is an anti-emetic drug (that eases vomiting symptoms) and dopamine (chemical messenger) antagonist. It works by blocking the action of dopamine in the brain, which causes nausea and vomiting. It also increases the movements and contractions of stomach muscles. Domperidone is also a prokinetic agent that controls acid reflux. 

Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on the severity of your disease. Common side effects of Cido Tablet include drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth, indigestion, and weight gain. Drug-Drug Interaction: Cido Tablet may interact with antidepressants (escitalopram, amitriptyline), anti-fungal agents (ketoconazole), antibiotics (erythromycin, moxifloxacin), heart-related drugs (amiodarone, sotalol), antipsychotics (haloperidol, pimozide), stomach related drugs (cisapride, dolasetron), anti-allergic drugs (mequitazine), anti-malarial medicine (halofantrine), anti-cancer drugs (toremifene, vandetanib), drugs treating HIV/AIDS (ritonavir), and pain killers (opioids).

Drug-Food Interaction: Alcohol may cause dizziness and drowsiness when taken with Cido Tablet.

• Avoid chocolates, junk food, cheese, processed food, alcohol, and smoking. Instead, eat a healthy diet and do regular exercise to avoid weight gain caused due to Cido Tablet.
• You can try increasing your mindfulness by doing yoga, meditation, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and stress reduction techniques.
• Drink enough water to stay hydrated and limit or avoid alcohol and caffeine.
• Include a diet rich in whole grains, vegetables, and fruits. This is a healthier option than eating a lot of simple carbohydrates found in processed foods.
• You can include antioxidants in your daily diet like ashwagandha, omega-3 fatty acids, green tea, and lemon balm.
• Try to spend time with your friends and family. Having a strong social network may help you lower your risk of anxiety.
• You can manage vertigo by avoiding dehydration, taking a low sodium diet, reducing alcohol intake, and managing stress. 
• Sitting down right away and rising slowly may help relieve vertigo. To improve your balance, you can also use a cane. 
• Your doctor may also suggest physiotherapy exercises to manage your posture and balance.

• Let your doctor know that you are taking Cido Tablet if you are undergoing any medical tests.
• Cido Tablet may cause abnormal liver function tests, hence caution is recommended.
