How does Epalrica-M Tablet 10's work?

Epalrica-M Tablet 10's is a combination of two drugs, namely: Epalrestat and Methylcobalamin.  Epalrestat prevents the accumulation of sorbitol by inhibiting the aldose reductase enzyme, which catalyses the conversion of glucose to sorbitol. Methylcobalamin helps in the rejuvenation and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Together, Epalrica-M Tablet 10's helps in treating diabetic neuropathy.
