Komela-TX Cream is used to treat melasma and hyperpigmentation. Komela-TX Cream protects the skin from harmful UV radiation and reduces discolouration. Melasma is a skin condition in which brown and patchy pigmentation appears on the skin. 

Komela-TX Cream contains tranexamic acid, kojic acid, arbutin, magnesium, vitamin e and mulberry extract. Tranexamic acid reduces pigmentation and protects skin from UV radiation. Kojic acid and arbutin suppress the formation of melanin (skin pigment). Vitamin E and magnesium provide essential nutrients. Mulberry extract reduces wrinkles and prevents premature ageing. 

Use Komela-TX Cream as advised by the doctor. In some cases, Komela-TX Cream may cause common side effects such as redness, rash and dry skin. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects consistently.

Please inform the doctor if you are allergic to any of the components of Komela-TX Cream. Consult your doctor before using Komela-TX Cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you are currently on any birth control/contraceptive pills containing hormones as they may interact with Komela-TX Cream. Avoid contact of Komela-TX Cream with eyes or mouth. If accidental contact occurs, rinse with water thoroughly.

Komela-TX Cream contains tranexamic acid, kojic acid, arbutin, magnesium, vitamin e and mulberry extract. It is used to treat pigmentation and melasma by suppressing melanin production by inhibiting its parent enzyme tyrosinase. In addition, Komela-TX Cream also protects the skin from the harmful UV rays of the sun. Komela-TX Cream prevents ageing and eases the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by preventing skin damage by free radicals. In addition, it shows antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties also, thereby enhancing the overall appearance of skin and complexion. 

Do not use Komela-TX Cream if you are allergic to any of the components. Inform your doctor if you have/had arterial or thrombotic disorders, cardiovascular health disorders, peptic ulcer disease, renal disease or hormone-sensitive cancer. Consult the doctor before using Komela-TX Cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Women with a tendency for chloasma/melasma (skin condition commonly seen in middle-aged women), should avoid sun exposure immediately after using Komela-TX Cream.

• Protect your skin with a prescribed sunblock, hat or any sun screening accessories alongside, as exposure to the sun worsens pigmentation. 
• Avoid wearing tight and dark-coloured clothing on the affected area after applying Komela-TX Cream.

• Do not apply Komela-TX Cream on broken/chapped skin or open wounds.
• If you are due to undergo any surgery or have recently undergone any surgery, inform your doctor.

Melasma: Melasma is a skin condition characterised by patchy discolouration and pigmentation of the skin. It is usually seen in pregnant and menopausal women. It appears on the face and tends to follow a symmetrical pattern. Common sites for melasma include the forehead, cheeks, nose and chin. 

Hyperpigmentation: Hyperpigmentation is a condition where skin colour appears uneven due to the formation of patches because of the concentration of melanin.
