About Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm

Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm is used to treat melasma and hyperpigmentation. Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm protects the skin from harmful UV radiation and reduces discolouration. Melasma is a skin condition in which brown and patchy pigmentation appears on the skin. 

Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm contains tranexamic acid, kojic acid, arbutin, magnesium, vitamin e and mulberry extract. Tranexamic acid reduces pigmentation and protects skin from UV radiation. Kojic acid and arbutin suppress the formation of melanin (skin pigment). Vitamin E and magnesium provide essential nutrients. Mulberry extract reduces wrinkles and prevents premature ageing. 

Use Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm as advised by the doctor. In some cases, Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm may cause common side effects such as redness, rash and dry skin. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects consistently.

Directions for Use

Use Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm exactly as directed. Wash your face with tepid water and a mild, non-toxic soap/face wash. Dry the face and pat the cream on gently. Do not wash the affected area immediately after applying Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm. Do not apply an excessive amount of Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm. Avoid getting Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm in your eyes or mouth. Do not apply on large, open wounds or on chapped areas of the skin.

Consult the doctor before using Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Women with a tendency for chloasma/melasma (skin condition commonly seen in middle-aged women), should avoid sun exposure immediately after using Mela-ACT Cream 15 gm.

  • Protect your skin with a prescribed sunblock, hat or any sun screening accessories alongside, as exposure to the sun worsens pigmentation.
