Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's is an anti-hypertension medication primarily used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood from the heart to the lungs). Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's helps to relax blood vessels by blocking endothelin and increasing the blood supply to the lungs.
Take Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending upon your medical condition. You may experience swelling of legs and ankles, headaches, and diarrhoea in some cases. Most of these side effects of Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor. Some rare cases may cause anaemia and abnormal liver function such as nausea, vomiting, dark urine, and fever, which your doctor should know.
Please inform your doctor if you have liver dysfunction before starting Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not take Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's a pregnancy category X drug. If you are taking Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's, women should use a reliable form of the contraceptive pill to avoid pregnancy and continue to use it one month after stopping Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's. Drug-Drug Interaction: Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's is known to interact with anti-hypertensive medicines (amiodarone), cholesterol-lowering medications (atorvastatin, lovastatin, simvastatin), antibiotics (erythromycin, rifampin), anti-fungal (fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole), anti-viral (ritonavir), blood thinner (warfarin), immune suppression medicines (cyclosporine), anti-diabetic (glibenclamide), and medicines to treat erectile dysfunction (sildenafil, tadalafil).
Drug-Food Interaction: Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's is known to interact with grapefruit juice.
Drug-Disease Interaction: Lupibose 62.5 Tablet 10's is known to interact if you have liver disease, anaemia, cardiovascular disease and fluid retention.
