Zybend Plus 400 mg/6 mg Chewable Tablet 1's belongs to the class of medications called ‘antihelmintic’ used to treat parasitic worm infections. Parasitic worm infections are intestinal worm infections that are caused by the ingestion of contaminated food and water. Zybend Plus 400 mg/6 mg Chewable Tablet 1's can be used to treat infections caused by roundworms, hookworms, threadworms, whipworms, pinworms, flukes, and other parasites. 

Zybend Plus 400 mg/6 mg Chewable Tablet 1's contains ‘albendazole’ and ‘ivermectin’, which work by keeping the worm from taking glucose and depleting its energy levels, leading to its immobilization. Ivermectin can kill the parasites by acting on the nervous system. It starves the worms by inducing paralysis, consequently leading them to death.

You should take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of Zybend Plus 400 mg/6 mg Chewable Tablet 1's are stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, decrease in white blood cell count (leucopenia), vision problems, confusion, weakness, and difficulty walking. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or get worsen.

You should not take Zybend Plus 400 mg/6 mg Chewable Tablet 1's if you are allergic to ‘albendazole’, ‘ivermectin’, or any other ingredients present in it. Directions for Use

Tablet: It is advised to swallow the tablet as a whole with water, so do not crush, break, or chew it. The dose of the medicine is determined by your doctor based on your condition. Chewable tablet: Chew the tablet completely and swallow. Do not swallow it as a whole.Syrup/suspension: Shake the bottle well before each use. Take the prescribed dose of medicine with a marked measuring spoon, oral syringe, or medicine cup, followed by water. It may cause a bitter or metallic taste, so avoid taking it at the same time as food or other drinks.

Consult your doctor immediately if you experience seizures, extreme tiredness, behaviour changes, blurred vision, trouble walking, or neck pain while taking Zybend Plus 400 mg/6 mg Chewable Tablet 1's. Consult your doctor if you notice unusual bleeding or bruising as you may bleed or bruise easily while taking Zybend Plus 400 mg/6 mg Chewable Tablet 1's. It may cause orthostatic hypotension (dizziness upon rising up quickly), so avoid standing up too quickly from a sitting or lying position.
