Fixi-AB-Plus Tablet contains Cefixime (cephalosporin antibiotic), ofloxacin (fluoroquinolone antibiotic), and lactic acid bacillus (probiotic). Fixi-AB-Plus Tablet is indicated in the treatment of gastrointestinal infections, urinary tract infections, otitis media (infection of the middle ear), meningitis (inflammation of the meninges), SSTI (skin and soft tissue infections), pneumonia, typhoid fever, post-operative surgery infections, and septicemia (blood poisoning caused by bacteria). Cefixime prevents the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Ofloxacin prevents the bacteria from repairing and reproducing. Thus, kills the bacteria. Lactic acid bacillus helps restore the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to the infection.
