High levels of anxiety can cause panic attacks, with intense feelings of nervousness, fear, sudden onset of sweating, hyperventilation, fast heartbeat, and skin flushing.

Betapol-ET Tablet 10's contains Etizolam (benzodiazepine) and Propanolol (a beta-blocker), used to treat anxiety. Etizolam works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger GABA, which suppresses the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain. Propanolol works by blocking a certain chemical messenger in the heart and blood vessels, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, and workload on the heart.

Take Betapol-ET Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Betapol-ET Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending upon your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience confusion, slow heart rate, memory impairment, tiredness, cold extremities, uncoordinated body movements, drowsiness. Most of these side effects of Betapol-ET Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

• Do regular exercise and maintain healthy body weight.
• Maintain a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
• Avoid fried foods, high-fat dairy products, pastries, and processed foods as they may worsen anxiety.
• Follow a regular sleep pattern. Do not take a nap during day time.
• Avoid watching tv, using mobiles or laptops just before bedtime.
• Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase drowsiness

• Do not take Betapol-ET Tablet 10's for a prolonged time as it may lead to mental or physical dependence on Betapol-ET Tablet 10's.
• Betapol-ET Tablet 10's causes drowsiness. Avoid doing activities that require your complete focus and attention, like driving when on this drug.
• An abrupt stoppage of Betapol-ET Tablet 10's can lead to significant withdrawal symptoms. Always discuss with your doctor about decreasing the dosage before completely stopping its usage.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while on Betapol-ET Tablet 10's as it can lead to dangerous side effects.
• Betapol-ET Tablet 10's is unsafe for usage if you're pregnant or are planning to get pregnant. Discuss with your doctor in such situations about changing/replacing the medicine with safer alternatives.
• To avoid getting addicted to this drug, take it only in prescribed quantities and only as directed by your doctor. Do not self-medicate.
